Your body wised up and adapted to the punishment. To keep growing, start building muscle outside the gym--with nutrition and lifestyle choices. Bolster your workout with small meals or snacks before and after, and continue to eat frequently throughout the day. In the weight room, for 3 weeks make your sets last longer than 40 seconds (to gain size), then keep them under 25 seconds for the next 3 weeks (to build strength). Continue to alternate between these approaches and you'll soon break out of that holding pattern.
